Senior Engineer - Emulation

Key Responsibilities:

1. Emulation and FPGA Prototyping Setup:

• Assist in building and configuring emulation and FPGA prototype setups, including image creation and hardware configuration.

• Support initial setup and deployment of prototypes using tools such as Cadence Palladium, Synopsys Zebu, and Siemens Veloce.

• Develop behavioural and synthesizable models for emulation, working under the guidance of senior team members.

• Contribute to the creation and refinement of Accelerated Verification IPs (AVIPs) for functional and performance verification.

• Collaborate in setting up environments for early software (SW) and firmware (FW) testing, enabling pre-silicon validation on emulation platforms.

• Work closely with software and firmware teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in early testing stages.

• Help configure co-simulation environments to facilitate integration between emulation and other simulation tools.

• Optimize co-simulation setups for accuracy and performance, in alignment with project requirements.

• Collaborate with design, verification, and software teams to resolve issues and debug system-level failures.

• Share knowledge with peers and junior engineers, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Use Cadence Palladium, Synopsys Zebu, Siemens Veloce, and other emulation tools proficiently to maximize performance.
• Identify areas for improvement in the emulation processes and contribute ideas for enhancing workflows.
