Senior DevOps Engineer II

Core Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Transformation: Lead and be part of the shift from legacy infrastructure to modern, cloud-native deployments with a focus on governance and scalability.
• Multi-Cloud Connectivity: Design and deploy robust networking solutions across AWS (Must-have) and GCP/Azure (Preferred), including complex on-prem to cloud hybrid connectivity. 
• Advanced Networking Stack: Orchestrate large-scale Transit Gateway deployments, VPC peering, custom DNS solutions, and Route53 management across all layers of the networking stack.
• Governance as an Enabler: Develop automated frameworks that mitigate risk and ensure data residency without stifling the velocity of Product and Tech teams.

FinOps Alignment: Implement network designs that prioritize fiscal responsibility, maximizing ROI on cloud spend through unit-economics transparency.

• Experience: 8+ years of proven track record in DevOps and Cloud Networking.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Cloud Domain: Expert-level AWS proficiency is mandatory; experience with GCP or Azure is a significant advantage. 
• Network Depth: Mastery of VPC, DNS, Route53, and large-scale Transit Gateway deployments. 
• Automation: Experience using Infrastructure as Code to ensure architectural integrity and performance.

The "Architect-Strategist" Persona

• Self-Driven & Decisive: You prioritize the functional "how" and the strategic "why" while stripping away administrative noise.
• Collaborative Liaison: Partner closely with the CTO Group and global engineering leads to align network infrastructure with product roadmaps.
• Risk-First Framework: Ability to identify architectural "rest risks," explain the consequences, and offer pragmatic pivots.
• Domain Authoritative: Technically precise communication focused on scalability and performance bottlenecks.
