Job Requirement:



- Adept in working to national and international design codes and industry standards for Water and Wastewater sector (CPHEEO, ANSI/HI, AWWA, ASME, BS, ISO, DIN etc.).



- Strong experience in complete Mechanical Design of Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Water Treatment Plants (WTP), and large Pumping Stations.



- Expertise in design of Utility Systems such as service water, potable water, cooling water, make‑up water, dust extraction/suppression, firefighting, ventilation, and HVAC systems.



- Experience leading multidisciplinary design coordination across Engineering teams.



- Proven capability in production, checking, and approval of mechanical design deliverables.



- Ability to develop hydraulic calculations, pump system resistance curves, and VFD pump operating philosophies.



- Hands‑on experience creating GA drawings, piping layouts, isometrics, P&IDs, PFDs, ducting layouts, and 3D models.



- Software knowledge: AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D, Navisworks; hydraulic modelling tools preferred.



- Experience in mechanical design for EPC / Design‑Build projects.



- Experience in tender development, vendor engineering review, procurement specifications.



- Strong communication skills with ability to interact with clients, consultants, contractors.




Responsibilities:



- Act as Design Lead and single point of contact for mechanical discipline.



- Prepare high‑quality technical reports, design documents, and engineering specifications.



- Manage design schedules, resource plans, technical reviews, and governance.



- Apply innovation, digital tools, and value‑engineering principles.



- Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and site teams for technical reviews.



- Support installation, testing, and commissioning with design clarifications.



- Mentor junior engineers and support capability development.



- Ensure adherence to company quality standards and procedures.



- Manage multiple projects and conduct technical presentations.








Here's what you'll need

Minimum Requirements



  • - Bachelor’s or Post‑Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.

    - Minimum 15 years of experience in Mechanical Design for STP/WTP/Pumping Stations.



    - Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit, Plant 3D, and Navisworks.



    - Experience in international (UK/Middle East) water sector projects preferred.



    - Strong communication skills; proficiency in English.
