This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 4 years Location: Mumbai, Bengaluru JobType: full-time Role & Responsibilities • Take full ownership of designing, developing, and managing scalable data pipelines that process both structured and unstructured data sources • Develop and enhance ETL/ELT workflows utilizing SQL, Python, PySpark, and AWS big data technologies • Establish and maintain data quality, validation, and monitoring standards to guarantee reliable and accurate data • Conduct in-depth data exploration and analysis to address complex business challenges and provide actionable insights • Serve as the senior data owner during product and client implementations, ensuring data use cases are properly implemented, thoroughly tested, and production-ready • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to shape data architecture and support analytical use cases • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts while contributing to data platform best practices Required Skills & Experience • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Data Analytics or Data Engineering roles • Expertise in SQL along with practical experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases • Advanced proficiency in Python and PySpark for large-scale data processing tasks • Demonstrated experience building and managing ETL pipelines using tools like Airflow, AWS Glue, or similar platforms • Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts and techniques for performance optimization • Hands-on experience with AWS data services such as S3, EMR, Redshift, Athena, and RDS • Ability to independently handle complex data challenges from start to finish and effectively influence cross-functional teams • Familiarity with US healthcare data is highly desirable
