NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding Platform Design Engineer to join our Circuit Solutions Group team. In this role, you will collaborate with other key design teams to develop evaluation boards for different Nvidia products and test chips. What you will be doing:


  • Design responsibility for the design of evaluation boards for Nvidia products, including GPUs, CPUs, test chips, etc.


  • Drive every aspect of design execution, electrical schematics, component selection, and provide layout guidance.  


  • Manage the documentation required to release the product to manufacturing and partners, and serve as the primary interface to the Silicon/Thermal/Mechanical/SI/EMC engineers.


  • Collaborate with Platform Architects and Chip Leads to create the platform specification and ensure the design meets the performance and testing requirements.


  • Hands-on development and testing in a lab environment, validation plans and bring-up, accompanying production and qualification processes.


What we need to see:


  • BS/MSEE and 5+ years of board/System design experience


  • Proficiency in digital/analog circuit simulation and fault diagnosis.


  • Proven ability to deliver complex projects from specification through to production.


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, critical thinking, problem solving, and project management skills.


Ways to stand out from the crowd:


  • Deep knowledge in analog and digital electrical circuits.


  • Experience with SoC platform design, including high current power delivery and high speed signals.


  • Proven industry experience with board design and fabrication including schematics, layout, and familiarity with thermal and mechanical design processes.
