Join our COMOS PLM team as a Senior Azure DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, where you will design and implement innovative solutions that optimize costs and enhance performance on our Azure platform, used by approximately 800 users daily. You will collaborate closely with internal and external platform team members, IT service owners, and business tool owners globally, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Your role is critical in building, securing, and maintaining highly available and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions, directly supporting Siemens Energy’s mission to drive sustainable energy transformation through digital excellence.

  • You will demonstrate expertise in re-engineering and executing cloud processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Apply your knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure components, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Availability Sets, Recovery Services Vault, Load Balancers, Network Security Groups, and PowerShell.
  • You will apply your hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure components, including Virtual Machines and Load Balancers.
  • You will design and implement Azure policies to ensure consistent product delivery.
  • You will manage and optimize resource utilization within subscription quotas.

What You Bring


  • A university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Long-lasting (>8 years) experience working as a DevOps Engineer on Microsoft Azure, with a strong understanding of the different Azure Cloud Infrastructure components, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Availability Sets, Recovery Services Vault, Load Balancers, Network Security Groups.
  • Over 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer on Microsoft Azure, with a strong understanding of Azure Cloud Infrastructure components.
  • Proficiency in managing Azure subscriptions and resources, including knowledge of Azure regions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English.
  • Advanced knowledge of Terraform and PowerShell scripts, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently.
  • A proactive approach to taking initiative and ownership in a collaborative, global team environment.
