What you’ll do:

We are looking for a Senior Analyst - Salesforce Development to join Eaton’s Corporate IT team based in EITC, Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for hands on development while leading a team to build, enhance, and maintain our enterprise Sales application on the Salesforce platform. This role will play a key role in ensuring scalability, security, and compliance, while also supporting system integrations and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Salesforce development and a demonstrated ability to deliver scalable, high quality, and maintainable solutions.



• Develop, configure, and deploy robust Salesforce applications using standard configuration, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Visualforce, Flow, and related Salesforce technologies tailored to business requirements.
• Collaborates closely with developers to support user story development, perform peer testing, debug issues, and conduct performance tuning to ensure functionality, reliability, and successful achievement of sprint goals.
• Collaborate with Architects, Developers, and other stakeholders to refine and estimate the user stories.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and platform governance limits.
• Manage enhancement requests, automation initiatives, and ensure minimal technical debt through best practices.
• Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems using REST APIs, event-driven architectures, SSO, Named Credentials, Connected Apps, Canvas Apps, and frame.
• Works with the DevOps team and oversee controlled deployments to QA, pre-prod, and production orgs using CI/CD practices.
• Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications by addressing defects, technical debt, and enhancement requests.
• Maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and architecture diagrams.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and emerging technologies; recommend improvements where applicable.



Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8-10 years of total IT experience, including at least 5 years of hands‑on Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce, Flow) and a minimum of 2 years serving as a Salesforce Development Lead.



Skills:

• Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, standard and custom objects, security, and sharing models.



• Proven experience building and managing Sales Cloud.
• Proven experience building and managing Experience Cloud sites.
• Strong preference for candidates who are Salesforce.com certified in the following areas – Certified Platform Developer I, Certified Platform Developer II, Agentforce Specialist, Data Cloud Consultant, CRM Analytics & Einstein Discovery Consultant
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.



• Effective communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving‑ skills with strong attention to detail. 



• Exposure to different Salesforce clouds – Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Industry Cloud.
• Hands-on experience on Omni Studio development.
