About Role:




As a Senior Data Steward in the Customer Programs team, you will support the structuring, validation, and governance of in-service operational and reliability data, ensuring high data integrity and accessibility to enable analytics and business decision-making.




What You Will Do:



  • Review and validate data received from designated platforms and repositories to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Perform data cleansing, normalization, and structuring activities to maintain high-quality datasets.
  • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and anomalies; coordinate with data owners and stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support maintenance and enhancement of centralized data repositories and structured databases.
  • Assist in development and maintenance of standardized data models, templates, and metadata documentation.
  • Generate routine data extracts, summaries, and structured reports for stakeholder reviews.
  • Ensure proper documentation of data definitions, data flows, and repository structures.
  • Contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives, including updates to Standard Work, SIPOC diagrams, and process flow maps.

Qualifications You Must Have:



  • B.Sc in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or B.Sc in Computer Science or B.B.A in Aviation Management or B.B.A in Business Analytics.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in the aviation industry, preferably in data analysis, data management, or reporting roles
  • Experience in data validation, cleansing, and structuring of large datasets.
  • Experience performing data validation, data screening, and structured technical documentation
  • Basic knowledge of airline field operations and in-service event reporting mechanisms.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and understanding of data repositories, data flows, and structured data storage concepts.
  • Familiarity with aviation field terminology and operational data structures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of Power BI for data visualization
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications We Prefer:



  • Certification in Data Analytics, Data Management, or Business Intelligence
  • Training or certification in Data Governance or Data Quality Management frameworks.
  • Foundational training or certification in Quality and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean Principles.

Shifts/Work Hours:



  • Morning Shift (07:00 AM to 4:00PM IST)

Onsite: Hybrid
