Job Summary:


The IT Systems Engineer Senior serves as a servant leader and Agile coach, enabling cross-functional teams to deliver business value through modern delivery practices and a product-centric operating model. This role partners closely with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and stakeholders to foster collaboration, drive continuous improvement, remove impediments, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.


The position plays a critical role in orchestrating delivery across multiple teams, managing dependencies, improving delivery predictability, and supporting the adoption of Agile-at-scale practices. The successful candidate will help teams embrace agility, promote transparency, and align execution with business objectives while driving measurable outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:


Agile Leadership & Team Enablement


  • Serve as a servant leader and coach to Agile teams, promoting Lean and Agile principles, practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Coach team members, Product Managers, and stakeholders on modern delivery practices and product-centric operating models.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning activities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.

Product Delivery & Execution


  • Support Product Managers and teams in backlog refinement, prioritization, release planning, and defining measurable business outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain team norms, working agreements, and definitions of done to ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance requirements, and quality expectations.
  • Monitor delivery metrics and team performance indicators to identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate team progress, achievements, and challenges to stakeholders and leadership.

Cross-Team Coordination & Dependency Management


  • Orchestrate delivery across multiple product and engineering teams, ensuring alignment of priorities, schedules, and dependencies.
  • Identify, track, and manage cross-functional and cross-team dependencies.
  • Facilitate coordination across Product Managers, Engineering teams, and shared service functions to ensure successful delivery of interdependent initiatives.
  • Drive release alignment and execution planning across multiple delivery streams.

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement


  • Proactively identify risks and issues that may impact delivery and facilitate mitigation planning.
  • Remove impediments or engage appropriate stakeholders to resolve blockers.
  • Drive adoption of Agile-at-scale practices and execution governance.
  • Establish delivery metrics and reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into progress, value realization, and delivery predictability.

Qualifications


Required


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 7–10 years of overall professional experience.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments with multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Experience coordinating delivery across product, engineering, platform, or shared services teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Lean principles, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Experience managing dependencies, release planning, and execution across multiple teams.
  • Ability to work effectively within global delivery models and distributed teams.

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or other Agile-at-scale certifications

  • Exposure to portfolio-level planning, release train coordination, and enterprise-scale Agile governance.
  • Experience working with global teams across onshore and offshore delivery models
