Within the Industrial Asset Management organization, we deliver innovative digital solutions that optimize shopfloor processes — including Industrial Maintenance, Tooling Distribution and Logistics, Sustainability, and Industrial Cybersecurity.

As a developer in Digital for Industrial Asset Management, you will play a pivotal role in our local-to-global deployment strategy. You will be directly involved in designing, developing, configuring, and validating SAP UI5 based digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency and sustainability performance. Acting as a key link between end users and technical teams, you will translate business needs into SAP functionalities, provide data-driven insights, and contribute to shaping the strategic roadmap of our digital transformation initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies:

We are looking for an experienced developer to assist us in managing and supporting our industrial application development. The ideal candidate will be working in strong collaboration with the Industrial solution team globally. The candidate will especially be supporting development & run mode activities and also ensuring reliability and performance via keeping an eye on Monitoring of the industrial applications. This is a role which requires experience with minimum 4+ Years on the following:

• SAP UI5/Fiori - Strong experience level

  
  
  

• SAP ABAP - Strong experience level

  
  
  

• Java JDBC - Good experience level

  
  
  

• SAP ME - Good experience level

  
  
  

• HANA DB - Good experience level

  
  
  

Candidates will require strong technical expertise: Strong hands-on experience with all technologies above. Experience with SAP MII & NWDS. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules including PM, QM, CMMS, Calibration & Metrology, Smart Tools, Remote Maintenance, Machine Predictive Maintenance, Tooling Logistics, Sustainability, and Cybersecurity is a plus.

Main Responsibilities:

• Creating and maintaining UI5 transactional applications with custom controls; adapting UI services with MII. 

  
  
  

• Designing, developing, testing, documenting & supporting web applications built on SAP UI5.

  
  
  

• Deploying highly available, scalable, maintainable, generalised solutions to meet the needs of transnational users across Airbus sites

  
  
  

• Solving complex technical challenges spanning across the many technologies mentioned above; requiring alignment across many teams and domains

  
  
  

• Designing & developing creative solutions that thoroughly meet customer needs & requirements; collaborating with resources outside of IT

  
  
  

• Addressing defects quickly and decisively during the development cycle as well as run mode

  
  
  

• Using the Charm tool to manage MiPs and deployments across the technologies mentioned above

  
  
  

• Implementing test automation covering multiple test aspects, like unit testing, functional testing, security testing, load and performance testing 

  
  
  

• Experience in deploying (Blue/Green deployment) application in various OS 

  
  
  

• Developing, updating and use CI/CD pipeline to allow fully automated deployments of applications across all environments from Development, Q&A and Production
