Responsibilities: Build and maintain classes, characteristics, dependencies, variant tables, super BOMs/routings, configuration profiles.
Enable VC across SD/MM/PP, including pricing and ATP for configurable materials.
Author functional specs, test scripts, and training; manage SIT/UAT, cutover, and hyper care.
Troubleshoot configuration issues and improve performance and maintainability.
Govern modeling standards, documentation, and change control.
Work closely with MDM (Master Data Mgmt.
) team on VC related data loads, setups, and dependent objects.
Qualifications: 3+ years (Analyst) / 6+ years (Senior) hands-on SAP VC primarily in ECC with LO-VC (Classic) experience strongly preferred.
Proven VC modeling (characteristics/classes/dependencies/variant tables/super BOMs & routings).
Integration with SD pricing, MM, PP/MRP, ATP; experience with order entry and production impacts.
Excellent communication; ability to work cross-functionally.
Nice to have: CPQ integration, variant pricing, migration to AVC, discrete manufacturing background, ABAP debugging.
