The Role

Build and maintain reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEFW), develop and maintain custom reports, user exits, and BADIs across all SAP modules, design high-performance interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs for external system connectivity, perform complex debugging and performance tuning for custom ABAP code and standard transactions, utilize Modern ABAP (CDS views, OData) to support S/4HANA and Fiori-based applications, manage technical documentation and SAP transport requests across the development lifecycle, participate in system upgrades, version migrations, and S/4HANA implementations, and adhere to SAP development standards and best practices.

• 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development

  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  
  

• Strong understanding of SAP modules and their data structures

  
  

• Proficiency in ABAP/4 and Object-Oriented ABAP

  
  

• Proficient in Data Dictionary and modularization techniques

  
  

• Familiarity with SAP HANA and S/4HANA development environments

  
  

• Strong experience with S/4HANA, CDS views, and OData service development

  
  

• Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative development

  
  

• Ability to translate functional specifications into efficient, scalable technical code

  
  

• Hands-on experience in RICEFW development

  
  

• Strong expertise in performance tuning and debugging

  
  

• Experience with IDocs, BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits

  
  

• Experience with middleware integration (e.g., SAP PI/PO or SAP Integration Suite)

  
  

• Understanding of SAP integration technologies (OData, REST, SOAP)

  
  

• Proficiency in SmartForms, ALV, and SAP Scripts

  
  

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  
  

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

  
  

• SAP certification in ABAP preferred
