Salesforce Developer



Hybrid - Bangalore



Permanent Role




We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications on our Salesforce platform, supporting a wide range of business functions including B2B and B2C sales, student application processing, and financial operations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, globally connected environment.



Key Responsibilities



  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Experience Cloud portals
  • Ensure code quality and maintain coverage through robust Apex test classes
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, Web Services, and middleware
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Provide technical support, documentation, and enhancement solutions for users and administrators
  • Work closely with internal teams to define, test, and implement new developments
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and recommend process and system improvements
  • Perform additional duties as required in line with business needs

Requirements



  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Flows, Visualforce, Lightning Components, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with Salesforce DX, Lightning Web Components, and Lightning Design System
  • Hands-on experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems via APIs, web services, and middleware
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce configuration (Objects, Fields, Flows, Page Layouts, OOTB functionality)
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Security models (Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, FLS, Apex Sharing)
  • Good understanding of data structures and data modelling
  • Ability to think critically and recommend scalable solutions
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in English
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder certification (preferred)
  • Experience with Experience Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Exposure to Change Management processes
  • Familiarity with tools such as Conga and DocuSign
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Admissions
  • Familiarity with Salesforce-integrated technologies
