The Position


To lead a sales team managing Women’s Health products across India. Be directly responsible for managing the sales, building relationships with Key Accounts, coordination with end customers (private and Government) and exploring & shaping new business opportunities


Responsibilities


Area Sales Operations:


  • Identify new business opportunities with KOLs, institutions grow revenues from existing clients, supervise implementation of marketing/ promotion activities in the area


  • Monitor adherence to sales/key accounts policies and procedures, monitor and track sales plans on a periodic basis, set sales, market share and distribution targets for the team, study market condition, set/cascade individual, team and territory wise goals, monitor financial targets/ budgets, guide and support market intelligence gathering and sales reporting


  • Monitor Distributor operations in terms of delivery time schedules at different steps of the distribution chain, ensure compliance with terms of trade, periodically monitor stock levels, interact with the supply team to ensure stock availability and timely distribution.


  • Liaising with the HOD's , Medical Superintendents, Purchase committee and Drug Committee in both Government and Private institutions for listing and maintenance of Organon Products


  • Facilitate transfer of learnings and best practices across states to improve service delivery outcomes.


  • Build robust forecasting models and ensure accurate product indenting for all markets (government and private).


Stakeholder Engagement:


  • Network, develop and manage the relationship with Government Stakeholders, KOLs, distributors and vendors and build a positive image for Organon to ensure achievement of sales objectives and facilitate smooth sales operations through the stakeholders


  • Supervise organization and conduct of CME's, and Trainings, with the KOLs  to develop the market and increase pull-through for Organon products


  • Support seamless National Family Planning program rollout across priority territories.


  • Drive Market Development Through Partnerships (Public Private Partnership- Social Marketing, Insurance, ABPMJAY)


People Management:


  • Guide, support and develop team members, identify training needs develop action plans, support in recruitment and training, set targets and objectives and monitor performance and ensure achievement of area objectives through a motivated team.


Required Education, Experience and Skills


  • Track record in Sales in healthcare and/or medical devices


  • 10+ years of sales / key account management/ business development experience in the healthcare industry with atleast 5 years experience in managing a team


  • Experience in working with physician customers and hospital-based selling and contracting.


  • Experience in working in public market space and with public programs of government


  • Guide, support and develop team members, identify training needs develop action plans, support in recruitment and training, set targets and objectives and monitor performance and ensure achievement of area objectives through a motivated team.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


  • Willing to travel on work across India, as per job requirements (>50% of the time)
