The opportunity
To maintain all plant equipment in a safe, compliant, and reliable condition while promoting a culture of preventive maintenance, risk reduction, and sustainable engineering practices.
To provide timely maintenance services that enhance plant productivity which also supports to organization’s operational goals.
How youll make and impact
Executes the assigned work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with HITACHI Energy standard processes and safety guidelines.
The job includes regular standard maintenance of the equipment.
Routine maintenance activities in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.
Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area.

Track maintenance KPIs like MTBF, MTTR, downtime and spare parts usage
Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to breakdowns
Good basic communication skills to co-ordinate with cross functional team
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues
To handle shifts individually
Basic knowledge of 5S activities
Maintain machine checklist and record machine history.
You will be ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background
Diploma or Degree with Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
2-3 years of working experience as Shop Engineering preferably in Transformer Industry
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
