Project description As a Release Manager you will be responsible for release planning and coordination to ensure the successful deployment of software updates. You will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the release management process, collaborating with various teams to guarantee proper testing, documentation, and scheduling. Effective communication, risk management, and governance will be key aspects of your role, along with leading the Go-Live activities and coordinating planning and preparation for deployment. Responsibilities Developing and maintaining the release management process, including the coordination of all aspects of the release lifecycle. Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure proper testing, documentation, and scheduling. Supporting training and communication as part of change management. Activities may include designing or delivering specialized training resources to appropriate resources. Own the entire change and release lifecycle, collaborating with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to guarantee proper testing, documentation, and scheduling. Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists. Release management allows for distinctive but connected aspects of a project like design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and more. Acts as process owner for the change management process. Leads the assessment and analysis of change based on requests for change. Regular communication and updates ensure everyone stays informed and accountable throughout the Salesforce release process. Skills Must have 7+ years of experience as a Release Manager Banking domain experience is mandatory Experience in Azure Devops (ADO) Pipeline and ADO Boards experience. Experience in Container, Docker, ServiceNow, Cloud based integration/deployment Hands-on experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation workflow Solid understanding of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and ability to integrate DB automation into releases Experience integrating security and compliance scans into release processes Experience documenting processes using Confluence, Jira, or similar tools Familiarity with AI-driven automation concepts in release and deployment processes Nice to have N/A Other Languages English: C2 Proficient Seniority Senior
