Summary:


As the Regional Commercial Manager (RCM) – eCommerce, you will act as the single point of contact for all commercial, financial, and operational aspects of the channel. You will partner closely with internal teams and external partners to drive performance, ensure financial accuracy, and enable business growth.


About the Role
  • Act as the single point of contact for all commercial, financial, and operational aspects of the eCommerce channel
  • Own and drive channel P&L, partnering with Commercial Lead and business teams
  • Support delivery of sell-in and sell-out targets through data-backed insights
  • Ensure accurate billing margins in line with agreed commercial terms
  • Track and manage gross sales, returns, true-ups, and revenue recognition for DTC business
  • Lead monthly P&L reviews, identifying opportunities for accuracy and profitability improvement
  • Manage provisions, dilutions, Credit Notes (CNs) and Debit Notes (DNs) as per commercial terms
  • Drive and secure quarterly reconciliation sign-offs with partners
  • Liaise with Global Accounting and Distribution teams to reconcile sales and returns (value & quantity)
  • Act as the go-to person for reconciliation issues, driving resolution with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and validate Flash reports to ensure accurate revenue recognition and alignment with reported P&L
  • Manage dilution budgets and track issuance of CNs accordingly
  • Monitor and actively follow up on receivables and collections
  • Support WMS to SAP reconciliation from a business finance perspective
  • Collaborate on SBP / AFP / Forecast cycles, including expense planning, provisioning, and approvals
  • Track expense trends and drive cost optimization and negotiations
  • Facilitate billing releases by aligning payment plans and factoring expected CNs
  • Partner with GBS and OTC teams to ensure smooth order-to-cash and billing processes
  • Support partner onboarding, including evaluation, benchmarking commercial terms, and approvals
  • Build strong partner relationships and ensure timely reconciliations and collections
  • Resolve partner queries and disputes related to pricing, inventory, taxes, and profitability
  • Support contract sign-offs and renewals
  • Present partner-wise P&L performance and insights (half-yearly)
  • Analyze and compare partner ROI vs. company ROI to guide business decisions
  • Location - Bangalore
About You
  • Qualified CA or CMA with 6+ years of experience in Commercial Finance / Business Finance
  • Experience in Retail, FMCG, or Consumer Durables industry preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and revenue recognition
  • Proven experience in managing P&L and driving business performance
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and SAP
  • Ability to work closely with commercial teams, channel/category teams, and external partners/platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and ownership
