Come, be part of Amazon's foray into Quick Commerce with the Amazon Now (Tez) QA team.

We are building a brand-new, ground-up initiative in the fast-growing world of Quick Commerce, and we are looking for QAEs who are passionate about testing and breaking this Web Software.
The QA team is working on building Test Automation and owning the Test Strategy for Amazon's Quick Commerce initiative. The QAE needs to drive automated daily deployments, define and meet success metrics for deployments, set and communicate processes for partner teams to successfully build and deploy on our stack.
The QAE will write end-to-end test plans for CX features. The model of working will be - test first and automation first. The QAE must use Gen AI when applicable.
The nature of the business requires us to be a fast paced QA team. It is an exciting time to be part of this Initiative. We have turned from a Business team to a platform team supporting other partners build the Quick Commerce Program for their region. This creates opportunity to build test solutions that need to scale for partners and influence beyond team boundaries.

Key job responsibilities
Create test automation frameworks and enable others to add tests.
Use Gen AI where relevant to improve efficiency.
Create and own Deployment Process for UI pipelines.
Create test plans, write test cases for new features.
Regression test and sign off on various partner team testing requests.
Lead junior QA members.
Be the Customer Representative and advocate for them in Bug Triage and other meetings.
Build Domain Knowledge and understanding of the Product under test.
Regularly communicate testing status and identify risks to Program launch dates.
Perform manual testing of services and UI features on desktop browsers, mobile browsers and mobile shopping application
About the team
The Amazon Now (Tez) QA team owns end to end testing of Amazon Now (Tez) CX Program.
- Experience in quality assurance engineering
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)
- Experience in API & Mobile testing
- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
