The opportunity

Manufacturing Quality Assurance work includes: Defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a manufactured material, component, or product. Building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products. Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards. Reporting and troubleshooting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

How you’ll make an impact

• Coordination of Quality management systems (QMS) of the entire Bushing factory. Preparing the SOP’s, Departmental manuals, Quality Plan, Data Sheets, Work Instructions, Management procedures, MRM, Documentation etc.

  
  
  

• Planning and executing factory different audit plans in coordination with Auditors and team.

  
  
  

• Coordination of the internal and external system ISO audits, customer audits, Global Quality audit, Third party /supplier audit, Critical Process review Audits and accreditation audits eg. NABL for testing.

  
  
  

• Coordinate with cross functional team for closer of different audit points in timely manner and sharing the results and to ensure internal auditors’ certifications

  
  
  

• Follow up for management review meetings in timely manner with collecting details from different functional managers

  
  
  

• Oversee the planning and execution of regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to QMS standards.

  
  
  

• Ensure all QMS documentation is up-to-date, accessible, and effectively communicated across the organization.

  
  
  

• Ensure that the testing equipment and tools are maintained and meet the testing requirements, usage of GAGE LIST for calibration and relevant transactions wrt calibration from external agencies for entire Bushing factory.

  
  
  

• Coordinate laboratory resources to ensure successful development of specific tasks/projects.

  
  
  

• Ensure the required technology skill levels in the laboratory, identifying appropriate technical training and technology knowledge development opportunities.

  
  
  

• Maintain traceability of measurements and calibrations to national standards, suitability, calibration, and maintenance of test equipment, testing environment, sampling, handling, and transportation of test items, Quality lab instruments and quality assurance of test and calibration data.

  
  
  

• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards for laboratory accreditation, which includes a thorough evaluation of all factors in a laboratory that affect the production of test or calibration data.

  
  
  

• Drive QMS training and awareness programs to build relevant competencies across the organization.

  
  
  

• Maintain Technical competence of staff, validity and appropriateness of test methods, traceability of measurements and calibrations to national standards, suitability, calibration, and maintenance of test equipment.

  
  
  

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:  

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering / Diploma in Engineering. Preferred Electrical /Mechanical Engineering.

  
  
  

• Experienced with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 17025 standards. 

  
  
  

• Min. 5 years of overall experience in similar positions.

  
  
  

• Experience in internal and external system audits, Customer audits, ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 audit.

  
  
  

• Implement, audit, consistently apply and sustain the local Quality Management System and suggest system improvements. 

  
  
  

• Assure compliance with all external and internal regulations, specifications and standard work 

  
  
  

• Experience in audit process and ability to manage documentation according to ISO/IEC 17025 standard 

  
  
  

• Ability to work independently and as well as in a team.  

  
  
  

• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
