This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 3 years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time What you’ll do: Take full ownership of the QA strategy across our product suite, including the desktop application, CLI, and API workflows.
Develop and manage automated testing pipelines, encompassing end-to-end, regression, and unit tests.
Establish testing procedures, quality standards, and release criteria.
Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to identify and resolve bugs promptly and frequently.
Advocate for product reliability by addressing edge cases, cross-platform challenges, and practical developer scenarios.
Foster a strong QA culture throughout the team by enhancing documentation, tooling, and test coverage.
About you: 3 to 5 years of experience in QA or software testing, including leadership roles in QA initiatives.
Proven experience testing developer-focused products, APIs, or CLI tools—preferably those used by hundreds of thousands of users.
Strong expertise in automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
Comfortable creating and reviewing test cases, maintaining continuous integration pipelines, and working asynchronously.
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering clean, dependable user experiences.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus: Experience contributing to or working within open-source environments.
Familiarity with Electron applications, Node.
js, and Git-based workflows.
Hands-on experience testing or developing tools such as API clients or other developer-centric applications.
Ability to thrive in a startup environment or a fast-paced product organization.
