Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a skilled QC Automation Engineer responsible for supporting quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring adherence to project standards and best practices. The ideal candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality, reliable software products that meet business and technical requirements by leveraging automation tools and techniques.


Software Requirements

Required:


  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or TestNG.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for creating automation scripts.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ALM, or similar systems.
  • Experience in developing and executing regression, functional, and integration tests within Agile projects.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or TeamCity.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), quality standards, and best practices for testing.

Preferred:


  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.

Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications in automation tools, testing methodologies, or QA frameworks are a plus.
