We’re seeking someone to join our CDRR Technology team as a Python Gen AI develoeper, in Non-Financial Risk Technology to build GenAI solutions, agents, and tools for risk alerts and software development lifecycle products, agents, tools, skills, and more.

What you’ll do in the role:


  • Staff, develop and lead one or more teams which is part of a department.- Analyze multiple sets of information to create summaries for various stakeholders.
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using primarily Python and some Java as part of an Agile squad delivering with a dynamic, global fleet and associated squads.
  • Leverage Generative AI tools and coding assistants to enhance development velocity and solution quality.Collaborate with global teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Participate in Agile meetings, deliver project status, and adapt to evolving regulatory and business requirements.
  • Learn, improve, and apply Morgan Stanley's proprietary frameworks and best practices.
  • Write comprehensive tests to ensure code reliability and maintainabilityRespond proactively to change, mastering new technical and business concepts as needed.
  • Proven leadership and communication abilities; experience integrating, leveraging, and influencing teams, developers, and programs within a large enterprise

What you’ll bring to the role:


  • Relevant 8+ years of development and technical leadership experience with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python.
  • Proven ability to write optimized, efficient, and clean code.GenAI Coding Assistant:
  • Experience with coding assistants like copilot, using Agent mode, Skills, etc.
  • Databases: Proficiency in RDBMS and NoSQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and related technologies.
  • SDLC Experience with DevOps practices:
  • CI/CD pipeline management, containerization, observability tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to design and implement effective solutions to complex problems.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, and clear communication skills, both oral and written.Testing:
  • Ability to write thorough unit tests covering all major logic components, preferably using coding assistant.
