We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced PV Designer based in the Philippines to support US residential solar projects.
This is a full-time, long-term role ideal for candidates who have hands-on experience creating permit-ready PV plan sets and are comfortable working within US solar standards and workflows.
Key Responsibilities ● Design residential solar PV systems for US-based projects ● Create complete, permit-ready PV plan sets, including: ○ PV layout ○ Single-Line Diagrams (SLD) ○ Basic electrical details ○ General notes aligned with AHJ requirements ● Perform shading analysis, system sizing, and production estimates ● Ensure designs comply with NEC guidelines and local AHJ requirements ● Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, permitting, operations) ● Review and revise designs based on feedback from utilities or AHJs Must-Have Requirements ● 1+ year experience in US residential solar PV design ● Strong hands-on experience with: ○ Aurora Solar ○ AutoCAD ● Proven ability to create complete PV plan sets (not just proposals) ● Solid understanding of: ○ NEC basics ○ Fire setback rules ○ Load calculations ○ Shading analysis ● Experience working with US utilities, AHJs, or solar EPC workflows ● Ability to work 45–50 hours per week (5.
