Project Leader

The EFE organization defines and deploys the right capability, governance, processes, systems and tools across the end-to-end Engineering and Product Development Lifecycle to drive efficient and effective execution.

This open role - Project Leader is part of the Program Management Office (PMO) within EFE and is aligned with the purpose of standardizing & accelerating World Class PM within the context of Managing New Product Development (NPD), other programs and driving growth for Eaton. This high performing organization aspires to achieve 2X throughput on NPD programs by creation and deployment of best-in-class PM practices, process frameworks and governance. It employs lean and continuous improvement techniques, develops best in class digital toolchains and collaborates globally across functions including Engineering, Finance, Operations, HR and Product Management. 
This role will provide support to the EFE PMO Team for creation of Program Management Standard Work at the Enterprise Level. Other duties include documenting Standard work, Guides on tools and processes for Portfolio Management, Waterlining & Profit planning, Capacity & Demand, Resource and Role based planning, Risk management and performance monitoring & financial aspects of the programs etc. This role demands Engineering and PM knowledge, level of accountability.The person in this role will be tasked with co-creating and supporting the EFE PMO Team in executing the PM vision across businesses along with other functions. This is a team member position who will be working closely with EFE PMO Team to institute best in class Program Management. "

"We are seeking a dynamic Project Leader for supporting ProPM Roadmap creation & ProPM Deployment. The ideal candidate will have over 5-8 years of experience in Project Management. This role requires understanding & application of basic concepts of Project Management. 

- Policy Development: Develop PMO policies, procedures, and best practices that drive efficiency and effectiveness.

- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on programs and portfolio performance, using data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic corrective actions.

- Innovation and Improvement: Drive innovation within the PMO, continuously seeking ways to improve processes, tools, and methodologies.

- Exposure of change Management processes & tools.

- Experience with tools like Microsoft Project, PPM tool, SharePoint.

"Bachelor's in Engineering.
5-8 years of program management experience.

Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation preferably PMP 
Experience of working on NPI Projects following stage gate process.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with PMO tools and software.(e.g. Clarity).
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
High level of personal accountability.
Exposure to Change Management"
