DESCRIPTION:
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Program Manager III and support cross-functional programs that enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. You'll advance strategic initiatives from concept through commercialization, ensuring successful delivery of innovative products and solutions. Guide project teams through our stage-gate Product Commercialization Process, managing scope, schedule, budget and risk while maintaining alignment with business objectives. Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and foster collaboration across matrix organizations. Support data-driven decisions, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements. Your work will directly impact our ability to advance research, address complex scientific challenges, and support breakthrough discoveries in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and diagnostics.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical or medical device product development
• Preferred Fields of Study: Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related discipline
• PMP certification preferred
• Six Sigma or any Continuous improvement certification a plus
• 3+ years technical project/program management experience leading complex initiatives
• Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, tools and best practices
• Strong understanding of stage-gate product development processes and quality management systems
• Experience managing program budgets, timelines, resources and stakeholder communications
• Excellent team leadership abilities with proven success in collaborative environments
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data-driven decision making
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships in a matrix environment
• • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (MS Project, SharePoint, etc.)
• Strong organizational and time management skills managing multiple concurrent projects
• Travel up to 15% may be required
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in professional environment
