Devices & Services Trust, Privacy and Accessibility (DSTPA) is responsible for maintaining and raising the trust bar for Amazon customers across a diverse set of 30+ Devices and Services. We offer horizontal services for builders to ensure trust, privacy, and accessibility is built into our products and services. We also build customer-facing capabilities that provide customers with control and transparency while reducing trustbusting risks, and enable partner teams to innovate with appropriate guardrails for content moderation, privacy, customer promises, accessibility, fairness, and trust.
The DSTPA team is seeking a Program Manager to join our Trust Review & Incident Management team. In this role, you will review product and feature implementations for readiness and compliance with established trust and privacy policies, identify deviations or gaps, assess implementation risks, and coordinate with cross-functional remediation teams to ensure successful resolution. This is a high-impact, high-visibility position that directly contributes to maintaining customer trust and regulatory compliance across our products and services.
A successful candidate will have an established background in driving a complex program portfolio with considerable impact, excellent program management, problem solving, and communication skills, and be comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. The candidate should have a history of driving deep insights from complex data, possess business judgment including the acumen to quickly assess the viability of key decisions, the ability to write compelling business documents, and drive outcomes for senior leadership. The ability to influence cross-functionally and across the organization, at all levels, will be absolutely critical to success in this role.
Key job responsibilities
- Review product and feature implementations end-to-end, assessing compliance against defined trust and privacy policies
- Identify and document policy drifts, gaps, and deviations from established standards
- Confirm and quantify risks in implementation, and coordinating with incident management stakeholders to drive successful and timely remediation of identified risks
- Drive end-to-end high-impact programs that ensure trust readiness and enhance the customer experience
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Operations, Legal, and Privacy teams to ensure timely deliverables for key projects and compliance review initiatives
- Analyze data and dive deep into processes to derive business-critical insights for enhancing compliance systems and workflows
- Write compelling business documents (narratives, escalation briefs, status reports) and drive outcomes for Senior Leadership
- Build a data-oriented culture within the team, adopt technical solutions, and drive process improvement projects to achieve operational and compliance goals
A day in the life
As a Program Manager II on the Trust Review & Incident Management team, you will work on high impact, high visibility programs that directly impacts our customers. You will be required to ideate, analyze data, generate insights, develop proof of concepts, write compelling business case, and gain agreement from Leaders across levels & functions to implement the solution. You will be required to collaborate with leaders from cross-functional teams including trust, privacy, accessibility, security, engineering, legal, and product teams to drive the programs from ideation to implementation effectively.

- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
