Job Description

The MYP Programme Coordinator provides academic leadership and operational oversight for the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme. The role ensures effective implementation of the MYP framework, promotes high-quality teaching and learning, and fosters a collaborative culture among faculty, students, and the wider school community. 


1. Programme Leadership


  • Lead the strategic planning and implementation of the IB MYP curriculum.
  • Ensure alignment of teaching practices with IB standards and practices.
  • Oversee curriculum planning and ensure interdisciplinary learning.
  • Support teachers in designing units that align with IB concepts, global contexts, and approaches to learning.

2. Teaching & Learning Quality


  • Monitor classroom practices to ensure effective IB pedagogy.
  • Support teachers through mentoring, coaching, and feedback.
  • Promote innovative teaching strategies and student-centered learning.
  • Plan and deliver professional development sessions related to IB MYP.
  • Guide teachers in IB training requirements and professional growth.
  • Stay updated with IB developments and educational best practices.
