Position: Mechanical Professional – Engineering Services (P1)


Location: JLL Business Services, Sector-30, Gurugram


What this job involves -


As a Mechanical Engineer working on a variety of projects in the India region, you will be responsible for reviewing, designing, drafting, modeling and developing the mechanical systems as a Peer Review Engineering professional, under the supervision of technical lead whilst adhering to delivery standards and ensuring essential procedures are followed in line with company QA/QC procedures. You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring safety, functionality, and efficiency in HVAC, plumbing & firefighting system designs & reviews.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the successful delivery of Indian project in engineering HVAC, Public Health (Plumbing) & Fire Protection calculations to determine the performance, reliability, and efficiency of MEP systems under the guidance of technical lead.


  • Ensure the HVAC, Plumbing & Fire packages are complying with Local Codes & Authority Requirements in India region like CPCB, CPWD, NBC, IS, UPC, IGBC, ISHRAE etc.


  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary MEP services to manage project coordination on BIM platforms like REVIT, AutoCAD, Navisworks etc.


  • Assist in reviewing and preparation of technical documentation including design specifications, procedures, schedules, reports & MEP packages from Consultant / Contractors.


  • Ensure high quality pee review, design and timely delivery of submissions.


  • Ensure all works have undergone proper QA/QC procedures for all projects.


  • Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary environments and collaborate and coordinate with various stakeholders.


  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Requirements for the Role:


  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or building services engineering.


  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience, with proven experience in a similar role working on a variety of projects.


  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably with experience in BIM software / platform such as REVIT, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud etc. in Design Consultancy environment.


  • Basic knowledge of local regulations and authority requirements, such as CPWD, NBC, CPCB, Fire Prevention & Life Safety Act etc.


  • Working knowledge of relevant national and international codes & standards such as ASHRAE, CIBSE, BSRIA, SMACNA, DW, NFPA, IPC, UPC, IS, ISHRAE, NBC, BS EN etc.


  • Good knowledge of working on REVIT, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu etc. for mark-ups, review, drafting and modeling exercises.


  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.


  • Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. 


  • Experience working on Large Scale Corporate Interior Fit outs Projects will be an added advantage.


  • Travelling within PAN India may be required sometimes as per project requirements.


  • Preference would be given to those who can join early.
