The Powder Paint Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the powder coating process, ensuring high-quality finishes on all products, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role involves managing a team of powder coaters, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.


Key Responsibilities


  • Supervision and Leadership:
    Lead and manage a team of powder coaters, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
    – Schedule and assign work to ensure timely completion of production targets.
    – Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Quality Control:
    – Monitor the powder coating process to ensure high-quality finishes.
    – Conduct regular inspections and tests to maintain quality standards.
    – Implement corrective actions for any quality issues.
  • Process Management:
    Oversee the setup and operation of powder coating equipment.
    – Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of equipment.
    – Optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    – Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
    – Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
    – Conduct safety training and regular safety audits.
  • Coordination and Communication:
    Collaborate with other departments, such as production, maintenance, and quality control, to ensure smooth operations.
    – Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Documentation & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Production Planning, QA, and Maintenance to meet schedules and resolve issues.
  • Support continuous improvement (Kaizen) to reduce cycle time, scrap, and changeover time.

Qualifications


  • Academic background in Any Graduate
  • Previous experience in or with 3 - 5 years in Powder Coating
  • Skills :
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving, adaptability, and continuous improvement orientation.
