Mission


The Production Engineer supports the Production Solution Delivery (PSD) team in delivering safe, efficient, and reliable production engineering solutions to customers. The role involves developing optimized technical designs, supporting field operations, and improving production performance through engineering analysis, operational support, and continuous optimization initiatives. The engineer is also responsible for supporting operational integrity, minimizing service delivery risks, and ensuring effective utilization of resources during execution.


Responsibilities


  • Develop and optimize technical job designs and production engineering solutions for assigned Product Lines.
  • Provide engineering and operational support throughout the service delivery lifecycle to ensure safe and efficient execution.
  • Analyse well and production system performance to identify optimization opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, operations teams, and PSD personnel to enhance job execution and technical solution quality.
  • Support field operations by addressing real-time operational challenges, troubleshooting production issues, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Assist in managing operational risks, incident investigations, and implementation of lessons learned to improve future job designs.
  • Evaluate and recommend cost-effective technologies, workflows, and value-added solutions for customers.
  • Support integrated and collaborative production system optimization across multiple Product Lines and assets.
  • Assist sales and commercial teams in technical evaluations, feasibility assessments, and tender support activities.
  • Compare actual job execution against design expectations, capture performance gaps, and document best practices and optimization opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with Operations Integrity standards, safety requirements, and company engineering practices.
  • Monitor resource utilization and contribute to efficient Cost of Service Delivery (COSD) management.

Experience & Exposure


  • Expereince required 5+ years
  • Exposure to Production Solution Delivery (PSD) operations and field activities.
  • Understanding of production systems, well performance, and artificial lift operations.
  • Familiarity with production optimization workflows and operational troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Operations Integrity, safety standards, and risk management practices.
  • Experience with production engineering software and digital production systems is preferred.

Educational Qualification


  • Bachelor's in petroleum engineering or chemical engineering
  • Master's in petroleum engineering (Optional)
