What you will do


As a Product Owner cum Scrum Master, you will lead product value delivery while enabling high-performing Agile teams. This hybrid role balances product strategy and prioritization (PO) with process excellence and team coaching (SM). You’ll own the product backlog, align stakeholders, facilitate Scrum events, and remove impediment ensuring the team builds the right product, the right way.


How you will do it


  • Define, refine, and prioritize backlog items aligned to business outcomes and customer value.


  • Translate business needs into user stories with robust acceptance criteria; ensure Definition of Done is met.


  • Promote Agile/Scrum values; facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.


  • Track progress against the product roadmap, focusing on new features and improvements.


  • Coordinate release planning, change management, and post-release monitoring; communicate progress and outcomes.


  • Support backlog refinement, story slicing, estimation, and prioritization; enhance clarity and alignment between Product Management and Dev Team, and stakeholders.


  • Ensure transparency (Sprint goals, burn-down, dashboards), adherence to timeboxes, and alignment with organizational standards.


  • Conduct demonstrations of the EPIC system to engineering and relevant stakeholders.


  • Identify potential risks in product development and launch phases, and support mitigation planning.


  • Facilitate feedback reviews and discussions to refine requirements and prioritize enhancements.


What we look for


Education: Bachelor’s in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.


Experience: 5–8+ years in product management or Agile delivery; 3+ years hands-on as a PO and/or Scrum Master.


Skills:


  • Prioritization frameworks (WSJF, RICE), roadmap creation, discovery/validation, customer empathy, data-driven decision making.


  • Agile: Scrum/Kanban mastery, estimation & forecasting, coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution.


  • Comfortable working with engineering teams; understanding of APIs, cloud/SaaS concepts, data/reporting.


  • Clear written and verbal communication, stakeholder alignment, executive updates.


  • Experience with Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence/SharePoint, Miro/Whiteboarding, Analytics (Power BI/Tableau), Feature Flags/Release tools.


Certifications (preferred):


  • Product: CSPO, PSPO I/II


  • Scrum: CSM, PSM I/II


  • Agile/Scaled: SAFe POPM, SA, or equivalent
