Role Overview



We are seeking a Product Owner (Functional). This role requires a unique blend of functional product ownership skills and  technical knowledge. The Product Owner will define scope, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery of techno-functional transformation program while collaborating with engineering, product, and contractor teams. This role will report into the Director - Product Management for Payments Infra & Platform.




The resource should have around 6 to 10 years of experience as product owner.




  • Should have knowledge on payment processing and message formats.
  • Should have worked on High value clearings such as SWIFT/Fed/Chips/Target2/Chaps
  • or low value clearings such as SEPA /G3 bulk or
  • Immediate clearings such as UPI/US RTP/G3 Realtime.
  • Knowledge on payment product Global pay Plus (GPP) Classic or SP.
  • Knowledge on SWIFT M2MX , ISO20022 Migrations.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:



Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:



  • API specifications (swaggers) for micro-services.
  • Modernization functional design
  • Product Requirement solution documents (PRSD's)
  • Solution walkthrough to customer and Internal team Dev/QA
  • Defects support
  • EPICs, User stories

 Required Experience:



  • 6 to 10 years of experience as product owner
  • Knowledge on Payments domain (SWIFT/FED/Chips/SEPA)
  • Knowledge on High value or Low value clearings
  • Knowledge on modernization, micro-services, devOps, database , APIs
  • Experience on ISO messages Pain/Pacs/Camt
  • Experience on Global pay plus (GPP) Classic or SP
