We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Assembler Developer with strong hands-on expertise in IBM z/OS Assembler (HLASM) to work on mission-critical legacy systems. The role involves analysis, development, debugging, production support, and modernization of Assembler-driven batch and online applications in large enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities
1.Analyze, develop, enhance, and maintain HLASM (Assembler) programs
2.Debug and resolve production issues using TSO/ISPF, system dumps, and abend analysis
3.Perform impact analysis and documentation for Assembler modules
4.Support L3 production issues related to Assembler code
5.Participate in modernization and migration programs, converting Assembler logic to COBOL or C where required
6.Implement regulatory and business-driven changes in Assembler-based batch logic
7.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers

Required Skills
-IBM z/OS Assembler (HLASM) – strong hands-on experience
-TSO/ISPF, JCL, VSAM
-Debugging using abend codes and system dumps
-Good understanding of registers, memory addressing, macros, and control flow

Good to Have skills
-COBOL, DB2, CICS, REXX
-Experience with mainframe modernization or migration initiatives
-Exposure to BFSI / Insurance / Financial Services systems

Experience
-4–7 years of experience working on Assembler-heavy mainframe applications
