Job description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Work as part of an innovative product development team involved in complete lifecycle development of Hazardous Area Electrical Products (ATEX/IECEx/UL).
  • Generate creative ideas and design concepts based on project and customer requirements. 
  • Convert ideas and concepts into workable models and proof‑of‑concept prototypes. 
  • Perform prior verification of concepts through analytical calculations, sketches, and 3D modelling. 
  • Validate designs through prototyping, testing, and performance analysis. 
  • Prepare detailed designs, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BoMs). 
  • Use Creo for modelling and Windchill for PLM workflows and release of engineering documents. 
  • Communicate progress and technical details with technical leads, project managers, and team members. 
  • Participate in cross-functional and cross-regional project meetings for status updates and technical discussions.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Knowledge of electro mechanical product design & development knowledge


  • Strong proficiency in Creo CAD software is an advantage (Or SolidWorks, AutoCAD). 


  • Understanding of engineering fundamentals such as mechanics, DFMEA, DFA, materials, GD&T, and tolerance analysis. 


  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, sheet metal, casting (pressure die casting), etc. 


  • Ability to perform engineering calculations and apply analytical problem‑solving methods. 


  • Good communication, teamwork, and project coordination skills. position



Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Master in mechanical design or equivalent


  • 2 - 5 years’ experience in product design
