Job Title
We’re looking for a Functional Analyst to join our team and contribute to designing, validating, and maintaining solutions for airline customers. You’ll analyze business requirements, create functional specifications, and ensure data quality across applications and pipelines. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced analytics, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support end-to-end product delivery in a dynamic, global environment.
Analyze business requirements from airline customers and product managers, conduct feasibility studies, and propose viable solutions.
Write and maintain functional specifications, solution documentation, and support development alignment with expected functionality.
Participate in validation phases, execute test plans, and ensure production integrity through functional and non-regression testing.
Utilize Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) and SQL for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, implement validation methods, and resolve data flow issues.
Support end users during acceptance phases and assist implementation teams for successful product deployment.
University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 6–9 years of experience in functional analysis, software lifecycle, and data-driven projects.
Hands-on experience with documentation and analysis techniques including:
SRS, BRD, FRS, RUD, RTM, use cases, user stories, UML, wireframes, gap analysis, and test cases.
Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python and Databricks Notebook; knowledge of MongoDB is a plus.
Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and understanding of data engineering concepts (Spark, Kafka).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in creating dashboards for data visualization.
Airline industry knowledge and experience in data modeling are a plus.
