Purpose of this position / Position summary                                          


The Local Operations Excellence Engineer/Expert is a tactical Lean practitioner responsible for deploying and applying Lean principles, concepts, and methods locally within work cells, teams, or value streams.


Primary duties and responsibilities


  • Participate in and lead local Lean improvement projects and workshops.
  • Apply Lean tools and techniques (5S, VSM, PDCA, problem-solving, standard work, visual management) to drive local improvements.
  • Collect and analyze data to support improvement efforts and measure results.
  • Support the implementation of standard work, visual management, and measurement systems.
  • Promote teamwork, idea sharing, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Participate in cross-training and skills development activities.
  • Provide feedback on improvement opportunities and support the development of Lean culture at the local level.

Engineering Degree


Lean Bronze Certification


Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification
