Position Overview
 

Autodesk Platform Service and Emerging Technology (UDA) team is looking for Principal Engineer -full stack talents to develop a core AI powered component that to empower millions of customers to search for and access any of their Autodesk data from any desktop, web, and mobile products. It is about defining the next-gen universal data access experience across diversified data sources, and moreover making it highly reusable, highly extensible and OS agnostic to easy integrate with Autodesk flagship products and 3rd party eco-systems. The position provides the opportunity to participate in core engineering including AI technology, technology evaluation, prototyping, architecture design, web UI component, data system, platform & service engineering, and many more.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement component platform

  
  

• Design guidance of platform contribution rules, Interface design

  
  

• Build up platform infrastructures

  
  

• Design and implement platform AI workflows for customers

  
  

• Responsible for key project goals. Lead team members to accomplish requirements from product manager and customers

  
  

• Own full engineering cycle including designing, prototyping, coding, validating, deployment, and troubleshooting

  
  

• Establish strong partnership and collaborate effectively with engineering teams worldwide with concise communication, strong commitment and win-win mindset

  
  

• Develop tools to boost work like automated testing, performance monitoring, resiliency analysis, etc

  
  

• Efficiently use AI to boost productivity. Share and bring best practice into the team/product; promote best practice/achievement to engineering community

  
  

• Leading technical solutions and design cross global teams

  
  

• Help team resolve technical issues, mentoring and leading junior members to contribute on project goals

  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors in computer engineering with 10-14 years working experience or equivalent MS

  
  

• Require excellent experience in technologies, React.js, TypeScript, Java, devops/CICD, AWS technology, REST APIs, AI, etc

  
  

• Rich API design and distributed system design experience

  
  

• Rich experience on building AI workflows and solutions

  
  

• Strong analytical capability and fast-learning ability

  
  

• Good leadership, communication and teamwork

  
  

• Strong knowledge and experience about cloud services; familiar with AWS deployment and development

  
  

• Comprehensive technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, implementation, automation tests and deployment

  
  

• Fluent English communication
