The Business Unit Pricing Manager is the linking pin between Product / Strategic Marketing and the Regions / Zones, consolidating and improving portfolio price setting strategies and enabling the commercial dialogue based on Market price realization and execution insights – always acting with integrity as a custodian of Commercial Policy.



The pricing manager drives the following key apects in his/ her role;



  • Coordinate and drive portfolio & price setting strategy and execution with Regions  
  • Consolidate price and line chart updates within the Business Unit
  • Orchestrate price setting process and communications with the Regions  
  • Analyze pricing and profitability KPIs and act as a consultant towards Business stakeholders to drive continuous pricing and profitability performance improvements

Your role:



  • Develops advanced pricing models and strategies that support business objectives, ensuring scalability and responsiveness to market changes, optimizing revenue and market share.
  • Implements ERP, CRM, and CPQ tools seamlessly, ensuring alignment with the pricing strategy and adherence to legal and SOX compliance.
  • Collaborates with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Policy teams to create advanced, customer-centric pricing models, aligning strategies with business goals, jointly negotiating and achieving optimal target price realization.
  • Produces detailed pricing performance reports with metrics, analysis, and visualizations for senior management and cross-functional teams, continuously monitoring and improving pricing strategies through data-driven KPI tracking.
  • Guides continuous improvement of pricing processes and tools, leveraging expertise in statistical analysis and pricing optimization to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensures adherence to pricing guidelines organization-wide, providing training and guidance to maintain consistency and compliance, and fostering a culture of pricing excellence.
  • Interacts with marketing, sales, and finance teams to ensure proper pricing alignment, executing proactive pricing programs, promotions, and tactics to drive incremental margins and maximize market share while considering competitive pressures and market changes.
  • Key KPI’s: Price Realization Improvement, IGM Dev, CP adherence (inc contract / deal compliance, % Unapproved exceptions, Pricing setting execution a part of NPI/MLD).

You're the right fit if:



  • Preferably a MSc., in (Business) Economics and/or Marketing.
  • 8-10 years experience in pricing, adjacent to other commercial (services) experience in sales and/or marketing.
  • Ability to synthesize PVM analyses into appropriate pricing strategy and programs.
  • Analytically strong and results driven.
  • Self-starting mentality, structured, strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written in addition to local language.


How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
