Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced Power BI & Snowflake Data Analyst/Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-level analytics and reporting solutions. This role involves creating high-quality dashboards, models, and data pipelines that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Power BI, SQL/PLSQL, and Snowflake, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, accurate, and secure business intelligence solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Software Requirements
Required:
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI for creating dashboards, reports, and datasets.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and PLSQL for complex query development, optimization, and data manipulation.
Extensive experience working with Snowflake for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of data modeling concepts, including star and snowflake schemas.
Experience integrating Power BI with various enterprise data sources and cloud platforms.
Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and data pipelines.
Skills with data security practices, role-based access, and governance standards.
Preferred:
Certifications in Power BI, Snowflake, or cloud analytics platforms.
Knowledge of Azure or other cloud ecosystems for analytics deployment.
Experience with data automation tools, e.g., Data Factory, SSIS.
Overall Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain impactful Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets to meet business and leadership needs.
Build optimized data models using DAX, Power Query, and best practices for data visualization.
Write and optimize complex SQL/PLSQL queries to support reporting and analytics requirements.
Leverage Snowflake data platform for efficient data extraction, transformation, and data warehouse management.
Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and provide scalable BI solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and performance across all dashboards and reports.
Implement and enforce BI governance, standards, and documentation.
Continuously seek process improvements, performance optimization, and new features/dataset enhancements.

Day-to-Day Activities

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
7+ years of experience supporting enterprise-level Power BI reporting and Snowflake data platforms.
Relevant certifications (Power BI Certification, Snowflake SnowPro, cloud analytics certifications) are advantageous.
Excellent analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Strong communication abilities for stakeholder management and technical documentation.
