Dispense prescribed medications accurately as per doctor’s instructions.
Verify prescriptions for correctness, dosage, interactions, and legal compliance.
Provide proper guidance to patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and precautions.
Maintain accurate records of medicines dispensed and stock movement.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of medicines and supplies.
Ensure proper storage conditions for drugs, including temperature-sensitive medications.
Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and follow safety and hygiene standards.
Comply with statutory regulations and pharmacy laws at all times.
Assist in handling customer queries and providing basic healthcare advice where appropriate.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff when required.
Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
Valid Pharmacy Council Registration (mandatory).
Freshers are welcome; up to 2 years of experience is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of medicines, dosages, and pharmaceutical formulations.
Basic understanding of drug interactions and contraindications.
Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medicines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain records and documentation.
Customer-friendly approach with professional ethics.
Willingness to learn and adapt to pharmacy procedures.
