About the role:


  • Onboarding new products for performance testing, POC, Client Demo
  • Collaboration with various teams across Capital Markets and enable them in conducting performance testing.
  • Performance testing advisory for areas like JMeter scripting, application monitoring, performance testing best practices etc

About the team:


  • Capital Markets is one of the three verticals in FIS. It has various products and solutions in funds management, cleared derivatives, commercial lending, corporate treasury, insurance risk electronic trading, RegTech, and wealth and retirement.
  • A Horizontal team maintained as a centralized service and shard across the organization specializing in performance testing. It is a core unit that involves standardized performance testing processes, formal metrics, required tools, and expert professionals.

What you will be doing:


  • Interact with Business leaders, product owners to understand scope of performance testing, gather PT/PE requirements. Identifying tools and techniques to improve testing quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct training for bigger team (JMeter training, Workshops on Performance testing awareness for product teams including Developer/QA/PS/Sales/Clients)
  • Plans, coordinates, and manages a project's overall Performance testing approach, tool capabilities and strategy.
  • Handle multiple products performance testing in parallel

What you will need:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
  • 8 to 12 years of experience in Performance Testing and exposure to different Performance Testing tools and frameworks
  • Excellent skills in Performance Testing using JMeter (minimum 2+ years of experience in JMeter);
  • Good in performance testing/engineering R&D (Exploration of tools for UI performance Testing & Application performance monitoring, Open-source scripting tools R&D for latest technologies etc)

  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
  • Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation
  • Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
  • Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
