Project description Support clients in the operation, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle Cerner EHR environments. This role is designed for early-career professionals who are eager to grow their technical skills in healthcare IT while working under the mentorship of experienced consultants and technical leaders. You will gain hands-on exposure to Cerner infrastructure, system workflows, and healthcare technology best practices while contributing to meaningful client outcomes. Responsibilities Provide L2 production support for Integrated Bedside Technologies across a multi‑hospital health system Support hardware and software systems integrated with the EHR via the iBus Platform Support deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of bedside medical devices Assist with CareAware-integrated workflows and bedside technology setup Ensure reliable enterprise medical device connectivity Coordinate device integration activities Skills Must have Level: EL2 Domain: Integrated Bedside Technologies & Medical Device Connectivity Platform: Oracle Health / Cerner Millennium (CareAware, iBus Platform) Focus: Device integration, frontline technical support, and system stability Deep technical expertise in integrated bedside technology and enterprise medical device connectivity, including deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support of hardware and software integrated with the EHR via the iBus Platform. Strong understanding of bedside clinical systems such as physiologic monitoring, fetal monitoring, anesthesia devices, digital room displays, and patient observation solutions. Proven ability to ensure reliable device integration, accurate clinical workflows, and system stability in a front-line support role across a multi-hospital health system. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across clinical, informatics, clinical engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to coordinate connectivity, system changes, and issue resolution. Experience supporting policies, procedures, and standards for CareAware and integrated bedside technologies. Skilled in system maintenance activities including software updates, validation testing with end users, RMA coordination, and assisting with smaller project efforts, including task coordination and light project management. Nice to have skills including mentoring and role modeling for technical staff, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing. Experience identifying and driving process improvements within and across departments. Comfort supporting departmental initiatives, team meetings, and engagement activities. Strong communication skills when working with clinical stakeholders and leadership, with an understanding of how bedside technology directly impacts patient safety and care delivery.
