Oracle EBS Techno‑Functional Consultant

Johnson Controls Inc.is seeking an experiencedOracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) Techno‑Functional Consultantwith strong expertise inOracle Financials and PL/SQL. This role will primarily focus ondaily operations and production supportfor Oracle EBS applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving support tickets acrossOracle EBS SCM and Financial modules, ensuring adherence to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This position requires hands-on involvement introubleshooting sub‑ledger month‑end close issues, executing programs for both technical and functional analysis, and collaborating closely with business stakeholders.

Modules are as follows – GL, AP, AR, PO, INV, HR, FA, Pricing

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day production support for Oracle EBS Financials, HR and SCM applications
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Oracle EBS issues within defined SLAs
• Support sub‑ledger and month‑end close activities
• Execute and analyze technical and functional programs to identify process issues
• Collaborate with business SMEs and process consultants to understand end‑to‑end business processes
• Identify automation opportunities and provide recommendations based on Oracle Discoverer and reporting discussions
• Implement temporary or permanent fixes and drive issues toroot‑cause resolution
• Communicate effectively with technical, business, and management teams

Required Qualifications

• Ability to workat JCI India officewith willingness to travel for major milestones
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent
• 10+ years of overall IT experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 8 + years of experiencein Oracle EBS application development and production support
• 5 + years of techno‑functional experiencesupporting Oracle Financial modules
• Experience withOracle SCM modulesis a plus
• Strong ability to review and troubleshoot complexPL/SQL procedures and packages, particularly for production and month‑end issues
• Working knowledge ofOracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Workflow
• Experience withOracle Discoverer development and support
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical solutions to cross‑functional audiences
• Experience working in aglobal delivery and distributed team environment
