Key Responsibilities


· Administer and maintain Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability, reliability, performance, and security.
· Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, backup, recovery, patching, upgrades, and migration activities across enterprise systems.
· Perform performance tuning, capacity analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for database and application-related issues.
· Support database high-availability and disaster recovery configurations, including monitoring, failover readiness, and operational validation.
· Execute database patching, upgrade, migration, and maintenance activities with minimal business disruption.
· Collaborate with application, infrastructure, cloud, and support teams to resolve incidents and deliver operational improvements.
· Provide support for Oracle engineered systems such as Exadata, including basic administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
· Contribute to automation and DevOps initiatives to improve operational efficiency, repeatability, and service quality.

Responsibilities:

Mandatory


· Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration.
· Strong experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, high availability, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery concepts.
· Proven expertise in database performance tuning, troubleshooting, patching, upgrades, and migrations.
· Experience managing production Oracle database environments in enterprise or customer-facing support settings.
· Strong understanding of database monitoring, incident management, problem management, and operational best practices.
· Ability to work independently across IC2 to IC4-level responsibilities, depending on experience and technical depth.
· Willingness to work in rotational shifts and provide weekend support as required.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
