Job description

We are seeking an Operations Analyst to join our Reconciliation team. In this role, you will independently manage operational workflows, analyze data, resolve discrepancies, and prepare accurate reports for stakeholders. You will serve as a key execution resource within the Operations function, driving reconciliation processes, data analysis, stakeholder coordination, and maintenance of operational records.
You'll be the person who ensures every transaction, settlement, and payout adds up and when something doesn't, you'll find out why and fix it.
Key job responsibilities
Manage and improve end-to-end operational and reconciliation processes independently; handle daily operational activities and resolve discrepancies within defined timelines.
Use SQL (PostgreSQL) and advanced Excel for data extraction, analysis, reconciliation, and MIS reporting; build queries to pull, validate, and reconcile large datasets.
Perform transaction, settlement, payout, and ledger reconciliations; investigate mismatches, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and coordinate with stakeholders for issue resolution.
Prepare operational dashboards, trackers, and reports for management review; ensure reconciliation records are audit-ready and accurate.
Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency; support automation activities with basic Python scripting.
Work with GitHub and Bitbucket for basic repository and version handling; maintain documentation and version control for operational scripts and processes.
A day in the life
You'll start your day by reviewing reconciliation queues and flagging mismatches from the previous day's transactions. You'll write SQL queries to extract and validate data, then dig into discrepancies coordinating with cross-functional teams like settlements, finance, and product to drive resolution.
You'll update dashboards and trackers, prepare MIS reports for leadership, and close out open items within SLA. Some days you'll be deep in data, others you'll be driving process improvements or supporting an audit. No two days look the same — but every day, you're making sure the numbers tell the right story.
About the team
We exist to build trust — one reconciled transaction at a time. Our team ensures that every rupee flowing through the system is accounted for, accurate, and transparent. We're a small, high-ownership group that values curiosity over hierarchy, solutions over excuses, and precision over speed-for-speed's-sake.
We celebrate people who ask "why doesn't this match? and don't stop until they find the answer. We bias for automation over repetition, clarity over complexity, and we believe the best ideas come from those closest to the data. You thrive with autonomy and love making order out of chaos you'll fit
