We are seeking someone to join our team as a Associate in Legal & Compliance Division. The role will be part ofLCD Center of Excellence (LCD Coe) in Mumbai which is responsible for supporting the global NFR Framework team.
In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm’s management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk. This is an Associate level position within the Enterprise NFR Framework , this team is responsible for designing and implementing NFR Framework, Policies, Procedures and tools required for assessing and capturing non-financial risk faced by the firm. The team has a global presence in New York, Baltimore, Budapest and Mumbai.

What you'll do in the role:
Support NFR Framework strategic initiatives and transformation
Support NFR Assessment and Control Program
Support NFR Taxonomy standardization, change management and governance.
Support Non-Financial Risk Conformance Framework by performing qualitative and quantitative review of Internal Incidents, Issues, Non-Financial Risk Assessments and Controls
Support overall program by performing data analysis, identifying issues and generating data driven hypotheses
Drive enhancements through usage of AI for process improvements and bringing meaningful insights.
Support periodic and adhoc reporting requirements
Ensure evidence and record keeping for internal audit and regulatory inspections.
What you'll bring to the role:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or similar.
At least 2 years of relevant experience within the financial services industry/consulting firms
Experience in working with large data sets. Ability to understand data model(s) , join data-sets based on existing linkages and summarize data for management consumption
Advanced expertise with data analysis in excel. Exposure to MS Access or other databases would be a plus
Familiarity / working knowledge of SPARQL , while not required, would be a great plus
Understanding of AI and experience with using prompts is desirable
Strong PowerPoint skills
Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize; ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Ability to collaborate and work across global teams
Strong interest in financial services, risk management and reporting
Coverage
Monday to Friday from 11:00AM to 8:00PM. Coverage is dependent on business needs so flexibility on required finish time or full day’s coverage may be required
