Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Delivery
* Lead end-to-end delivery of .NET applications hosted on Azure, ensuring alignment with business goals and engineering standards.
* Drive solution design and architecture decisions for cloud-native and hybrid workloads, focusing on scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
* Review designs and code to ensure adherence to best practices, performance benchmarks, and secure coding standards.
* Mentor and guide development teams, establishing consistent patterns for development, testing, and deployment.
Azure Engineering & Operations
* Design and implement Azure-based components including compute, storage, networking, and identity integrations as required by the solution.
* Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting practices to improve observability and operational readiness.
* Support production readiness activities including performance tuning, incident triage, and root-cause analysis.
Collaboration & Communication
* Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements, estimate effort, and plan delivery milestones.
* Communicate technical trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, enabling informed decisions.
* Contribute to continuous improvement through process enhancements, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience leading technical teams, conducting design reviews, and establishing engineering best practices.
* Strong experience with modern .NET development patterns, API design, and integration approaches for distributed systems.
* Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates for cloud deployments.
* Hands-on experience with Azure governance practices including cost optimization, security posture, and access controls.
* Demonstrated ability to drive modernization initiatives such as cloud migration, application refactoring, and platform standardization.
Good to have skills:
Microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), DevOps/CI-CD (Azure DevOps), SQL Server performance tuning
Minimum Qualifications:
* 9+ years of overall experience in software engineering with strong hands-on expertise in .NET and Azure.
* Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise applications using .NET technologies and Azure services.
* Strong understanding of application architecture, performance optimization, and secure development practices.
* Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
Build and modernize enterprise-grade applications on the Microsoft stack, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
