We are currently seeking a Murex Developer - MxML & Datamart to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).



Role Overview



We are seeking an experienced Murex Developer specializing in MxML interfaces and Datamart to design, build, and support integration and reporting solutions across the Murex platform. The role covers interface development, workflow configuration, and Datamart extraction/reporting architecture for global capital markets clients.



Key Responsibilities



  • Design, develop, and maintain MxML-based interfaces for trade capture, market data, and static data exchange between Murex and upstream/downstream systems
  • Build and support MxML Exchange for real-time and batch integration
  • Develop, optimize, and support Murex Datamart extractions, datamart configuration/ architecture
  • Design and maintain custom Datamart reports to meet business and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Perform Datamart re-engineering and performance tuning to meet SLA and scalability requirements
  • Collaborate with business analysts to translate reporting and interface requirements into technical designs
  • Support Murex upgrade and migration projects — validating and remediating interfaces and Datamart extracts across versions
  • Write and maintain SQL/PL-SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and validation
  • Troubleshoot production issues related to interfaces, workflows, and Datamart jobs; provide root-cause analysis and fixes
  • Prepare technical documentation, including interface specifications, data mapping documents, and support runbooks
  • Work within onsite-offshore delivery models, coordinating with cross-functional and distributed teams

Required Skills & Experience



  • 4+ years of hands-on Murex development experience, with strong focus on MxML and Datamart
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle and/or Sybase)
  • Working knowledge of XML-based data standards and message formats
  • Experience with Murex workflow configuration and GOM
  • Familiarity with job scheduling tools (Control-M or similar)
  • Understanding of core capital markets products (FX, Rates, Fixed Income, Derivatives)
  • Strong debugging and performance-tuning skills for interface and reporting jobs

Preferred / Nice to Have



  • Experience with Java or scripting languages for custom interface development
  • Exposure to Actuate or other reporting/BI tools alongside Murex Datamart
  • Prior involvement in Datamart re-engineering or reporting architecture redesign projects
  • Murex Train-the-Trainer (3T) certification on Datamart, or equivalent Murex training
