About this opportunity:



The purpose of the MS Delivery Manager is to ensure delivery performance, in alignment with Business Case and BA MS Targets. This Role is responsible for delivery of the scope assigned. The MSDM plays a key role in the success of the delivery, and this involves operation management and relationship management with the stakeholders. 




Key Responsibilities:



  • Ensure that the quality and cost of the services delivered are in accordance with the expected levels agreed through WLA for MS Network 
  • Build trust with the MSCLT, focus on productivity and efficiency of global deliveries. Build strong collaboration and team-spirit across the delivery teams to enable performance towards overall account targets. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Ensure that the Service Delivery by the Operations teams are compliant per the contractual SLAs and drive Operational Excellence end to end. Monitor and report on the delivery performance
  • Responsible for Internal Governance. Report on the operational performance/ Special project progress according to the report requirements stated on the WLA
  • Readiness & MS Handover: Manage the hand-over of resources, services and activities to the global delivery unit to fulfill or expand the WLA scope, securing the availability of the required capacity and the operational readiness of global delivery organization
  • Ensure that the delivery units are working in complete alignment with MS EOE processes and Ericsson standard tools (including MSDP)
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, customer requirements and Ericsson internal procedures and standards in the areas of occupational health & safety and environment (EHS) in the specific customer/contract

Candidate Prerequisites:



Qualification & Experience:



  • Qualifications: Degree in Engineering preferably in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunications, Computer science or equivalent
  • Total Experience: 15-16 years in Telecom Industry
  • Delivery/ Project Management experience (3+ years)
  • Project Management Certification will be an added advantage 

Technical and business competencies



  • Good understanding of Network Architecture in technologies Core/ Packet Core/ Cloud 
  • Understanding of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence
  • Good knowledge of products and systems in the customer’s network.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the customer’s business situation.
  • Deep understanding of the managed service delivery business requirement
  • Deep understanding of the Ericsson Service Delivery Processes for Managed Services 
  • Impact and results focused, comfortable in questioning the status-quo to drive positive high impact change
  • Highly adaptive, and thriving in a rapidly changing environment

Behavior and skills:



  • Leadership skills: coordination across departments 
  • Functional Skills: Understanding of Processes, stakeholder management
  • Performance and results oriented with good skills in leading and motivating people and conscious of responsibility and empowerment.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan own work to meet assigned schedules and targets
