As an IBM MREF (Tririga)Architectyou are responsible for defining, designing, and governing the end-to-end architecture of MREF solutions across Real Estate, Facilities, Capital Projects, Lease Administration, and Space Management domains.
This role acts as thetechnical authorityfor MREF implementations, upgrades, integrations, and optimizations-ensuring scalability, performance, security, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
The architect works closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, integration teams, and delivery teams to translate business needs into robust, future-ready MREF solutions.
As an MREF Architect, you would be responsible for
Architecture & Solution Design
1)Ownend-to-end MREF solution architectureacross modules like:
oReal Estate & Lease Administration
oSpace Management
oFacilities & Maintenance
oCapital Projects
oEnvironmental / Sustainability (where applicable)
oDesign scalableapplication, data, and integration architecturefor MREF implementations.
2)Definecustomization vs configurationstrategy to ensure upgrade-safe solutions.
3)Lead architecture decisions for:
oMigrations
oAssessment
oHealth checks
oWorkflow design
oBusiness objects (BOs)
oForms, queries, reports, and KPIs
oUX framework and navigation
Integration & Technical Leadership
1.Architect integrations between MREF and enterprise systems such as:
oERP systems
oHR systems
oFinancials & Procurement
oGIS, BMS, IoT platforms
oDocument Management systems
2.Guide data migration strategies from legacy IWMS / CAFM systems.
Governance & Best Practices
1.EstablishMREF architecture standards, patterns, and guidelines
2.Review and approve technical designs and configurations created by delivery teams.
3.Ensure adherence to:
oPerformance and scalability best practices
oSecurity and access control models
oUpgrade and cloud-readiness standards
Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement
1.Act astechnical SPOCfor customers, market teams, program leadership, and product teams
2.Translate business requirements into architecture and design artifacts.
3.Provide technical leadership during:
oProject planning and estimation
oSprint reviews
oUAT and go-live readiness
4.Mentor MREF developers and functional consultants.
Cloud, Upgrade & Modernization
1.Lead architecture for:
oMigrations
oAssessments, Health Checks
oMREF upgrades and platform modernization
2.Support adoption of:
oCloud-native integration patterns
oAutomation and DevOps practices
3.Ensure alignment with MREF product roadmap.
Core MREF Expertise
1.12+ years of experience inIBM MREFimplementations.
2.Strong hands-on expertise in:
oBusiness Objects, Forms, Workflows
oQueries, Reports, KPIs
oUX Framework
3.Deep understanding of MREF data model and security framework.
Architecture & Integration
1.Proven experience as a Solution / Technical Architect on large MREF/Tririga programs.
2.Strong integration experience
